Intrafin is a Toys, Games and Merchandising distributor located in Zaventem, Belgium. Founded on 26 June 1991, Intrafin quickly developed distribution of the now well known Magic: The Gathering Collectible trading card game from Wizards of the coast.
In the subsequent years Intrafin broadened its catalogue to cover most products needed by a Hobby or Gaming store.
With the phenomenal success of the Pokémon trading card game (Hasbro/Wizards of the coast/Nintendo) our business took another giant leap in 2000 and resulted in the best year ever for both our company and the manufacturer; Wizards of the Coast.
After some high level consolidation in 2001 & 2002 our growth continued in 2003 with the emergence of the Yu-Gi-Oh! CCG and our breakthrough in the mass market channel.
Much needed new offices and bigger warehouse were put into service in January 2004, soon proven to be too small again as sales skyrocketed to new all time highs.
With well over 60.000.000 cards sold in 2004 the market looked set for a breather.
However 2005 was much stronger than we all expected with continued strength in Card games, Board games and Action figures.
Many in the industry will remember the year as being marked by the downturn of classic printed RPG and the surge of Massively Multiplayer Online games. Games like Eve-online and World of Warcraft were suddenly the talk of the town.
In 2006 we started our sister company Intrafin Logistics nv offering warehouse and shipping services to manufacturers without European offices. Furthermore we decided in the fourth quarter of 2006 to start developing our distribution services in France through a separate division suitably called Intrafin France.
Intrafin continues to serve well over 600 direct accounts representing several thousands points of sale located mainly in Belgium, Luxembourg and France.
